OpenAI Launches GPT Store
After several delays, OpenAI has officially launched the GPT store this week for ChatGPT Plus, Team and Enterprise users.
In these 2 months since they announced this plan, while the OpenAI board was tried to oust Sam Altman, ChatGPT users have created over 3 million custom GPTs created. Now, you can publish these GPTs in the store and potentially earn from their upcoming revenue sharing.

In order to publish a GPT in the store, all you need to do is:
- Save a GPT for Everyone
- Verify your Builder Profile in your Settings
Details of the revenue-sharing for GPT builders is still unclear, although as OpenAI highlights:
In Q1 we will launch a GPT builder revenue program. As a first step, US builders will be paid based on user engagement with their GPTs.

Rabbit R1 Launches AI Companion Device
The other big announcement this week was at CES where the Rabbit R1 was introduced. The Rabbit is not quite a smart phone, nor a large language model, but as the company describes is:
...a personalized operating system through a natural language interface.
This natural language interface is enabled through what they call a Large Action Model (LAM):
LAM is a new type of foundation model that understands human intentions on computers.

Perplexity - Raised a $73M Series B Round
- What they do: Perplexity is a search engine platform that uses artificial intelligence to provide large language models and search engines. The company's platform enables the development of beneficial artificial general intelligence, as well as an open-source environment that is accessible to the public, allowing clients to develop skills and knowledge inartificial intelligence.

Robin AI - Raised a $26M Series B Round
